It could be said with a sense of certainty that ever since Netflix gave us Motorsport fans the famous and in fact, why just famous- rather iconic “Drive To Survive”, there has been a sense of renewed vigor and passion with which lots of new age fans have gotten hooked to Formula 1. Isn’t it?
But getting hooked is one thing and bringing forth one’s customs and traditions to one’s own world of Formula 1 is something quite different. Something quite unique!
The latter, it could be said, happened for real, just very recently where if as unbelievable as it may sound, the phrases Red Bull, Indian fan and traditional Pooja came to be used in a single instance.

So what really happened?
An Indian man’s first Formula 1 experience came with a cultural twist—he witnessed a pooja being performed on an F1 car.
In a video shared by AJ Lalwani, what started as a simple visit soon turned into a unique blend of tradition and motorsport.
A flower garland was placed on the car, while lemons and green chillies were tied to ward off bad luck.
A woman led the ritual, applying a tika to the car as curious crew members watched, amused by the unusual yet fascinating moment.
The ceremony wrapped up with the breaking of a coconut on the ground, a symbolic gesture believed to mark a positive beginning. The crisp crack rang out momentarily, drawing smiles from onlookers.
The video was captioned: “The Red Bull F1 car pooja!”
