1. Albie Morkel – 125 m vs Deccan Chargers (2008)
This record was set right from the beginning. Morkel, who played for the team Chennai Super Kings, hit a maximum of 125 meters against Pragyan Ojha. The shot landed way out there in the stands in Hyderabad. This happened during the first ever season of the IPL. Till today, no one has been able to break it.

2. Praveen Kumar – 124 m vs Rajasthan Royals (2008)
The list continues with another surprising name. Despite being a swing bowler, Praveen Kumar managed to surprise all with an incredible shot of 124 meters. He played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and hit Yusuf Pathan in a shocking manner. The shot showed that even bowlers can produce extraordinary moments with the bat.
3. Adam Gilchrist – 122 m vs RCB (2011)
The name Gilchrist certainly belongs to the list of power hitters. While playing for Kings XI Punjab, he launched a six off Charl Langeveldt, which travelled a distance of 122 meters. This happened in Dharamshala. It reflected his aggressive approach and clean striking ability, even in the later stage of his career.
4. Robin Uthappa – 120 m vs Mumbai Indians (2010)
This was the moment when Uthappa shone. He hit a shot which traveled 120 meters towards the crowd from Dwayne Bravo. While playing for RCB, he delivered this shot at the Brabourne Stadium and made it memorable in the early days of IPL.
5. Chris Gayle – 119 m vs Pune Warriors India (2013)
Lastly, Gayle gets included in the list. In his iconic 175* innings, he hit a six worth 119 meters against Ali Murtaza. The shot landed on the roof of the stadium in Bengaluru. Although Gayle has several batting records, this one remains among the most powerful.
