World is finally coming back

Staged on clay-courts and held at the Stvanice Stadium in Prague from Wednesday 3rd until Saturday 6th June, the LiveScore Cup followed a special round-robin format featuring former World Number 1 Pliskova alongside five leading European players, including 2019 Roland-Garros Finalist and current World Number 18 Marketa Vondrousova.

In an optimistic tweet, post her victory Pliskova shared with her fans that with the return of tournaments, her victory symbolises the return to normal. She also acknowledged the hard times that the world has been facing, yet “the world is coming back in the right direction.”

Exhibition tournaments trend

As the WTA, ATP and ITF tournaments are suspended the players are indulging in any form of practice they get. Thus most players have been actively participating in exhibition tournaments they would otherwise avoid, as they offer no ranking points.

The coming weeks have a list of tournaments lined up, many with high ranked tennis players that will offer amazing tennis and be covered widely.
