The design itself draws inspiration from the traditional red cricket ball, featuring deep red tones and prominent seam-style stitching. The tribute becomes even more meaningful when viewed alongside Kohli’s Test achievements. Between 2011 and 2025, he scored 9,230 runs in 123 Test matches and 210 innings at an average of 46.85. He registered 30 centuries, 31 half-centuries, and a highest score of 254 not out. As captain, he led India in 68 Tests, overseeing one of the country’s most competitive eras in red-ball cricket.
