Tafadzwa Tsiga Earns Maiden Call-Up As Zimbabwe Make Key Changes
The most exciting news in the selection is the addition of Tafadzwa Tsiga, who earned his first-ever T20I call-up after already showcasing his skills in 10 Test matches for Zimbabwe. This wicketkeeper-batter might just be on the verge of making his white-ball international debut during the upcoming series against India. Zimbabwe has also welcomed back all-rounder Wessly Madhevere, who returns to the T20I squad after last playing in this format back in July 2025, along with left-arm pacer Newman Nyamhuri, who has bounced back from the injury that sidelined him for part of the Bangladesh tour.
On another note, fast bowler Tanaka Chivanga has kept his spot after making a strong impression during the Bangladesh series, where he stepped in as an injury replacement.
