The final of the first World Championship is to be played next year. New Zealand won the Test series 2–0 against the Windies and have put themselves in the final race. Team India is yet to play a total of 8 matches in 2 series. The 4-match series from Australia starts on 17 December. New Zealand have to play the final Test series against Pakistan at home.

If New Zealand wins the series 2–0, it could cause problems for Team India. In such a situation, Team India will have to win 5 matches out of 8 to be confirmed in the top-2.

Team India will have to win at least a match in Australia

India’s average point is 75, while New Zealand’s is 62.50. If the New Zealand team wins the series 2–0 from Pakistan, then their average will be 70. In such a situation, Team India will need 150 points for an average of over 70. That is, you have to win 5 matches. The team will also gain 150 points by scoring four wins and 3 draws. In such a situation, winning a match in Australia will be important.

If Australia wins the four-match series 3–1 against India and the final series against South Africa is drawn 1–1, then it will remain in the top-2. But the most eye is on the series between New Zealand and Pakistan starting on 26 December.
