Manchester United will lock horns with Sevilla in the first semi-final of this season’s Europa League on Sunday at the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne on Sunday night.
The Premier League giants beat Danish outfit FC Copenhagen 1-0 in extra time with a Bruno Fernandes penalty getting them into the last four of the Europa League. They will be looking to book their place in the Europa League final for the second time since 2017 when they won the tournament under Jose Mourinho.
Sevilla also secured a hard-fought close victory over Premier League opponents in Wolves in the quarter-final with Lucas Ocampos scoring the late winner. They have won the Europa League each time they made it to the semi-finals of the competition.

Manchester United and Sevilla were only drawn once in European competition when they faced each other in a Champions League last 16 tie in 2018.

Sevilla vs Manchester United: Prediction
Manchester United managed to find the breakthrough against FC Copenhagen in extra time after creating a plethora of chances but they need to be more efficient in front of goal against Sevilla.
Sevilla are a seasoned European side and have the knowhow for this stage of the competition. They will put pressure on the Manchester United defence and the Spaniards do like to dominate the ball.
Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic will have to provide the control the Red Devils need in the middle of the park.
Both sides have kept clean sheets in 70 percent of their European games this season. Manchester United have lost just once since January and Sevilla are unbeaten since February.
Sevilla vs Manchester United predicted scoreline: 2-1
