Rohit Sharma smashed his 35th ODI century off 72 balls in the second ODI against West Indies at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on September 30, 2026. Opening the innings in a massive chase of 406, the former Indian captain set the tone with aggressive intent right from the start. Rohit reached his fifty in just 34 balls and looked sublime touch with his trademark pull shots, elegant drives, and powerful sixes. He put up a formidable unbroken opening partnership of more than 250 runs along with Shubman Gill. The former Indian captain was dropped when he was in the 80s but he continued to march into the nineties with consecutive boundaries. The Guwahati crowd was treated to vintage Rohit as he completed his century. Rohit completes 12,000 ODI runs and 200 ODI sixes at home
