New Zealand vs Pakistan T20 Series: beat Pakistan by 9 wickets in the second T20

The Pakistan team, who went on a tour to New Zealand, also suffered a loss in the second T20. In this way, New Zealand has captured the series with a 2–0 lead in the three T20 matches.

New Zealand achieved the target of 164 runs with 9 wickets remaining due to a 129-run partnership between wicketkeeper-batsman Tim Siffert and Kane Williamson.

Pakistan’s only wicket was taken by Faheem Ashraf. Earlier, Pakistan batted first and scored 163 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.

The final and third T20 matches are scheduled to be played on 22 December. In addition to the T20 series, Pakistan has to play a two-Test series.

The first Test will be played at Mount Moungnui from 26 December and the second Test at Christchurch from 3 January.

Hafiz scored 57 not out facing 57 balls. On the other hand, New Zealand bowler Tim Southey took 4 wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs.

The New Zealand team, which achieved the target, defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets by scoring 164 runs with 4 balls remaining. New Zealand lost their first wicket for 35 runs. Opener Martin Guptill was dismissed for 21 runs. He caught Harish Rauf off Faheem Ashraf’s ball. Tim Siffert and Kane Williamson then handled the innings. There was a 129-run partnership between the two. Kane Williamson faced 57 off 42 balls and Siffert scored 84 off 63 balls.
