Lewis Hamilton paid a tribute to his beloved dog Roscoe on his first death anniversary with an emotional message about the bond he shared with it. The seven-time World Champion took to social media to reflect on his life since Roscoe’s passing and admitted that the loss of his longtime companion is still difficult to process. He said that there is not a day when he doesn’t wish Roscoe to be by his side.
Notably, the Brit adopted Roscoe, an English bulldog in 2013, and within no time, it became a familiar face around the F1 paddock. It was regularly seen accompanying the Ferrari driver at races and other events. His death in September 2025 came after he suffered prom pneumonia and spent several days on life support.
Remembering Roscoe a year later, Hamilton also said that he also misses his other late bulldog, Coco, and stated that he thinks about both the dogs every day. Despite the sadness, he said that he feels grateful to have spent time with them and memories created.

“It’s been one year since Roscoe’s passing. Being without my best friend has been hard, and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t wish he was with me. I think of hin and Coco every day, and as sad as I am to not have them, I’m so grateful for the time I shared with them and to have had them in my life. They’ve been there for some of the happiest times of my life. Today, I’m looking through these photos and videos laughing and smiling so big remembering those moments,” he wrote.
“So many of you have been through this and reached out with love and support. It means so much to me, knowing how much Roscoe was loved. Rest’s in peace buddy’s, love you always,” Hamilton added.
