“Intimate, full of love”: Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez unveil private wedding details as they pose for Vogue magazine post wedding vows

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have finally unveiled the private wedding details of their union in the pages of Vogue, a leading fashion magazine. The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in the Portuguese town of Cascais on August 11. The football star and the model got married in a civil service, attended only by their five children. While the images of the ceremony were kept private, the couple shared details for preparations leading up to the marriage ceremony. The football player and his bride have kept the news of their marriage private for several days, but the couple has been publicly showing affection for almost a decade.

The newlyweds described the ceremony as deeply personal rather than an elaborate celebrity event. Rodríguez told Vogue, “It was exactly as I’d imagined it. Intimate, full of love, and with our family in the most important starring role. I couldn’t hold back the tears.” The Portuguese football icon also explained their approach to the occasion, saying they wanted it to be a special day, spent in a normal way. The couple had initially kept the wedding private before confirming their marriage by sharing a photograph of their wedding bands with the caption “C❤️G”. Their Vogue appearance now offers a more detailed glimpse into the emotional

milestone and the family life they chose to place at the centre of their special day.

“I want something intimate”: Georgina Rodríguez opens up on choosing family over a lavish wedding in interview with Vogue

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez marked their 10-year relationship milestone with an intimate wedding at home in Portugal, choosing family and privacy over the kind of extravagant celebration their global fame could easily provide. The couple, who married on August 11, kept the ceremony deliberately small, with their children at the centre of the occasion. Rodríguez explained that a larger celebration with relatives and friends could still happen in the future.

The Spanish-Argentinian model revealed that her idea of the perfect wedding had changed dramatically over the years. “In the future we will have a big wedding, so we can celebrate with family and friends,” she said, explaining that it had been a crazy year filled with work commitments, competitions, kids. Reflecting on her childhood dream, she said, “When I was a little girl, I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I’m saying: no. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home.” She added, “Because castles, houses, islands, horses, cars: We have all of that within reach every day. But something intimate—that’s more unusual for us.”
