EA Sports announced the FIFA 21 Team of the Year on Friday. For the first time in 11 years, Argentina and Barcelona star strikers have not got a place in this team. The FIFA 21 squad features players such as Real Madrid star striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Bayern Munich’s Robert Levandowski, and Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruin.
Over 10 million people voted
More than 10 million people voted for the FIFA-21 team. The team has the highest number of players from the Bayern Munich club winning the UEFA Champions League in the 2019-20 season. The team consists of 2 from Liverpool, 1–1 from Real Madrid, Manchester City, Paris St Germain, Yuvantas.
Ronaldo and Lewandowski received the highest 98 rated cards in voting. At the same time, Embape received 97 rated cards. Lewandowski scored 47 goals in 55 matches in the 2019-20 season. At the same time, Ronaldo scored 37 goals in 46 matches. Messi had 31 goals in 44 matches.
EA Sports started the FIFA Team of the Year in 2011. Messi was included in all teams from then until 2020. He has scored 14 goals so far in the 2020-21 season.
