Babar in top form over the years, still a long way to go: Younis Khan

Younis Khan, former Pakistan star batsman, said that it’s at least five years too early to make a comparison between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam. He also said that even though Babar has done a decent job in recent years, he has a long way to go to reach to the Virat Kohli level.

According to a report published in PTI, Younis Khan feels that the modern day legend Virat Kohli is far more experienced than the Pakistani batsman who is being compared with the former.

Stats speaks everything about Virat Kohli

Younis Khan adding to his statement said that the Pakistani batsman has a long way to go in the international cricket. He will have to prove himself in tough situations and under pressure.

“Kohli has far more exposure than Babar and he has been in every kind of situation and proven himself. No one gets 70 international centuries like that and this are proof of his class and abilities. He has scored runs in every situation and all opposition, former Pakistan captain was quoted by PTI as saying.

Babar is in top form

Younis Khan, who played 118 Tests, 265 ODIs and 25 T20I, hailed the newly appointed captain and said that he has the likes of Virat Kohli in his batting.

“You see him batting and you can see he has got the same qualities that Kohli had at the start of his career.”

“Babar has been in top cricket for just around five years. He has got a very impressive batting average across all three formats and he is getting better by the day.
