Lando Norris has stepped beyond his role as a Formula 1 driver by co-founding LN4 Fusion, a new junior single-seater racing team designed to help develop the next generation of motorsport talent. The reigning F1 World Champion unveiled the project ahead of the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, with the team set to compete across several feeder categories from 2027. LN4 Fusion will enter the Italian F4 Championship, Formula Regional European Championship and FIA Formula 3, while it is also pursuing an opportunity to compete in Formula 2. The team has acquired selected assets from AIX Racing, including its F3 entry for 2027.
Norris will also support the LN4 Legacy Programme, a fully funded driver-development initiative aimed at helping talented young racers who may otherwise struggle with the financial demands of progressing through motorsport. The programme will provide funding, coaching, mentoring and career guidance. Norris, who came through the junior single-seater ranks himself, said the project is about creating opportunities for drivers and building a strong pathway towards Formula 1. LN4 Fusion will be led by experienced figures including former Prema boss René Rosin as Team Principal and Guillaume Capietto as Racing Director. Norris has said his ambition is for the new organisation to become a leading force in junior single-seater racing.

Lando Norris has committed his future to McLaren by signing a new contract that will keep him with the team until at least the end of 2030. The reigning F1 World Champion, who joined McLaren’s junior programme nine years ago, says the extension reflects his ambition to continue winning with the team. “When I started this journey nine years ago, I was clear about the goals I wanted to achieve: to get McLaren back to the front and to win championships. We’ve achieved that goal, but we want more, we want to keep on winning, and we know as a team that we’re capable of achieving it.”
Norris also expressed his excitement about the years ahead, saying, “I can’t wait to get back in the car in Monza and I’m very excited about what the future holds for us, both over the rest of this season, and in the coming years.” McLaren CEO Zak Brown praised Norris’ contribution, stating, “I’m incredibly pleased to be signing a new contract with Lando, extending his commitment with McLaren until at least 2030. His journey with the team is a fantastic example of our commitment to identifying, developing and supporting world-class talent, and his achievements speak for themselves.” Brown also highlighted Norris’ role in McLaren’s recent championship success, while team principal Andrea Stella described him as “an integral part of McLaren’s journey and success over the last nine years.”
