The 3 IPL teams that are yet to win a single trophy and why that may be the case?

The winner takes them all, as it’s said. Not an awful lot is reserved for the one who loses and the history is made and dictated by the one who triumphs. Same rule for the battleground or battlefield and same for the game of cricket. Not a lot, therefore, changes where it comes to the famous Indian Premier League.

There’s such absolutely brilliant talent around but not all have tasted success in the top annals of the franchise league cricket in India. Let’s talk about the 3 amazing teams in the competition that are still seeking that elusive trophy:

Punjab Kings have had a long and frustrating wait for their first IPL title, despite featuring stars like Shreyas Iyer (captain inspirational), Shashank Singh and Arshdeep Singh, who actually make for a strong and reliable core.

They peaked, speaking of 2025, at the right time and went as far as the knock out virtual quarter final tie, the eliminator against Mumbai. They knocked out Mumbai and then reached the finals. In so doing, they stunned spectators and gained new fans. But in the final, Iyer’s spirited Punjab side met their match in the tireless and resounding Mumbai team.
