Kim Kardashian addressed her awkward encounter with Sky Sports Formula 1 presenter Martin Brundle four months after their viral exchange at the Monaco Grand Prix. The reality TV star shared a light moment with Bundle during the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday.
Ahead of the race, Brundle spotted Kim alongside her sister Khloe on the grid and tried his luck after he was snubbed by her before the Monaco Grand Prix. Kardashian attended the race weekend to support her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton acknowledged that their previous interaction didn’t go the way it should have gone.
Did we go off on the wrong foot?- Kim Kardashian jokes about Monaco GP snub
During Brundle’s traditional pre-race grid walk in Singapore, Kardashian greeted the presenter and jokingly asked if they both got off on the wrong foot. “Did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?” The presenter replied to it warmly and said that it wasn’t a problem and everything was fine.
“No, it’s absolutely fine! Lovely to see you again at a Grand Prix,” he said before asking about her thoughts on Formula 1. “I think it’s amazing and fun and wild. Something I’ve never seen before, it’s amazing,” Kardashian responded. This encounter was a contrast to their first encounter at Monaco in June, where Brundle had approached Kardashian.
He had asked, “How, how are you today? Are you enjoying F1?” However, she didn’t respond to the broadcaster and moved on with her team. The incident went viral within no time and Kim found herself at the other end of criticism.
However, on Sunday, she also opened up on Hamilton’s strong form and said, “I’m just praying for the best tonight. He’s very confident and so am I – got to pray for the best!”
