Football legend Carlos Tevez could be about to create one of the most exciting football moments ever. The former Argentina and Boca Juniors star is planning his long-awaited farewell match at La Bombonera in December, with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly set to feature. Tevez has a unique connection with both players, he played alongside Messi for Argentina and shared the Manchester United dressing room with Ronaldo. The idea is now to bring the two icons together on the same team for the first time.

Tevez revealed that this has been a dream of his for years. “It has always been my dream to see Cristiano and Leo playing for the same team. They’re the two greatest players of all time.” He said he personally contacted Ronaldo and asked him to join Messi for his farewell, telling him, “Cristiano, I want you and Leo on the same side for my farewell. Let the world see that magic once.” Tevez says Ronaldo agreed, while Messi also gave his approval. “He said he would be there. Leo wasn’t hard to convince either. Both have given me the green light. I can’t wait. This one is going to be emotional.”
