The clip quickly caught the attention of fans, giving them a first look at the team, including the young opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, as India starts their preparations under the leadership of captain Shreyas Iyer.
As they embark on this tour, India is eager to turn around a challenging phase in T20 cricket. The Men in Blue faced two losses against Ireland and then suffered a 4-0 series defeat to England. The young opener from Bihar made waves during the IPL 2026 season, where he not only earned national selection but also became the youngest player ever to win the Orange Cap. With an impressive tally of 776 runs at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 237.3, he’s certainly made a strong case for greater recognition.
