The 2025 Formula 1 season with fourteen races rendered complete has, thus far, been so topsy turvy ride from the very start, with Lando Norris usurping Max Verstappen from the championship lead, then Oscar Piastri taking the top spot from Lando, to Lewis Hamilton failing spectacularly in a Ferrari.

And now we hear from the newest team which hasn’t even made to the grid yet(Cadillac) that their two drivers are going to be Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas! Who knows what’s in store next!

Well, even we don’t know what’s going to happen, but do look out for these…!

1. Max Verstappen’s home race is coming up first thing after the Summer Break

Max Verstappen, the Dutch lion has been limping his way around the track in a slow RedBull, or like the media have termed it as the ‘RedBull tractor’.

But with Christian Horner out of the picture at Red Bull, and Laurent Mekies already filling the gaping hole left by Horner, maybe Max will put up a fight against the two McLaren’s.

Max has performed at his peak this entire season as is apparent from the very fact that both his teammates, Lawson and Tsunoda, have barely managed to finish in the top 10. Max Verstappen never stops fighting no matter the car, he fought against Lewis Hamilton in the W11, and his fighting against the McLaren boys in the MCL39.

With the regulations being the same since 2022. The teams have learned a lot from the 3 years of racing and have utilised it all.

That has lead to the current scenario where the entire grid, in qualifying, lines up within 1.5 seconds.

Meaning the time difference between the fastest lap in qualifying is only 1.5 seconds faster than the slowest car on track.

Yet, Max Verstappen keeps putting consistent top 5 lap times in every race, doing everything in his will power to hold on to that championship fight. Let’s see what Max can do at his home turf.

2. Championship fight between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri

Lando Norris has let himself become victim to what prevents most drivers in F1 from reaching the top – the pressure. Oscar on the other hand handled it so well that he overtook Lando Norris in the very early stages of this season.

Kudos to McLaren, for letting their drivers fight it out on the track rather than giving team orders. This year’s excitement has come from watching these two men fight hard and fast on the racetrack, and the last 11 races will see the champion being crowned.

The biggest question – Who will be the F1 Champion in 2025?

Is it going to be Oscar Piastri? Seems most likely as Oscar has been in the lead throughout the season except for the first couple of races.

But could Lando Norris win the championship? Well, let’s watch together and find out.

3. The Signature Red team Ferrari and 7x World Champion Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton spent the first half of the season trying to make Ferrari understand that the way they do things is not good for this season. Yet, Ferrari being Ferrari have always been adamant about the way they do things. Especially when it comes to their cars.

Did you know that when Niki Lauda first signed with Ferrari, he called his Ferrari F1 car a piece of s*it!

Yes! That was why they eventually listened to him and let him make changes required to win. We know that Hamilton hasn’t exactly called his Ferrari a piece of shit, but honestly everyone knows that Ferrari in 2025 is nowhere.

They have barely been able to put up a fight to the midfield. But Lewis finally has got them to listen, and they have heard him. Just before the Belgium Grand Prix, Lewis received the same upgrade package as Charles and he managed to finally extract some pace from the red car.

Lewis made 11 overtakes in Spa!

So be on the lookout for the 7x World Champion as the season progresses, as he may finally be getting the podium finishes’ he has so longed for in a Ferrari, and maybe we see him on the top step soon.

That is not all. All the rookies have made great progress throughout the season, so watch out for them too, as they will begin to take the fight to their veteran teammates and the other drivers on track as well.

But most importantly, keep your eyes peeled at the top 3 contenders in the championship as the result is not sure yet and F1 has always surprised us at the last minute!
